Free · allowances check

Which allowances are you leaving unclaimed?

Every year money is left unclaimed because people do not apply for allowances they are actually entitled to. These are the four main ones. Go through them and see if any apply to you. Put together by your bookkeeper in Rotterdam.

Zorgtoeslag (healthcare allowance)

A contribution towards the cost of your Dutch health insurance. If you have an average or lower income, there is a good chance you qualify. Many people never apply and leave money on the table every month.

Huurtoeslag (rent allowance)

Do you rent a home and is your income below the limit? Then the Tax Office helps pay your rent. Even with a variable income as a business owner you may be entitled to it.

Kinderopvangtoeslag (childcare allowance)

Do you work and do your children go to daycare or after-school care? Then you get a large part of those costs back. The hours you work as a business owner count too.

Kindgebonden budget (child budget)

An extra contribution alongside child benefit, depending on your income and the number of children. You often get it automatically, but not always, so check whether you receive it.

The exact amounts and income limits change every year and depend on your situation: income, savings, rent and whether you have a partner. This overview shows which allowances exist. Whether you qualify, and for how much, you can check for free with the trial calculation on toeslagen.nl, or let us do it for you.

Not sure you are getting everything?

We are happy to run the check with you and apply for what you are missing. So you leave no money behind. In Dutch, Polish or English.
